Introduction of the LIFE Ecoelectricity Project (LIFE15 CMM/ES/000080) to the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Zaragoza

Representatives of AIJU, DSV and Innotecno Development presented the LIFE Ecoelectricty Project to researchers from the University of Zaragoza on November 25, 2020

Since face-to-face visits were not possible due to the COVID-19 outbreak, the visit took place by virtual means.

The representatives of the LIFE Ecoelectricty consortium – Rubén Beneito (Energy R&D Area Manager), Alberto Arellano (CEO of DSV), Lola Corvinos and Alejandro Prieto (Project Manager and R&D Technician of Innotecno Development S.L) showed an video and photographic material to explain in detail the operation of the R&D demonstration plant and its different elements.

During the presentation, addressed to the researchers of the University of Zaragoza, Manuel Bailera, Eva María Llera, Julián Marín, Begoña Peña and Luis Miguel Romeo, the most important aspects and innovations of the pilot plant that is located in the facilities of the partner Destilerías San Valero (Cariñena) were highlighted.
